TORONTO – The Canadian television production industry suffered another blow Friday with news that Vancouver-shot series King & Maxwell has been cancelled.

The decision by U.S. cable network TNT to pull the plug after one season comes only days after AMC cancelled The Killing, which was also filmed in Vancouver, and BBC America announced an end to the Toronto-shot series Copper.

King & Maxwell stars Rebecca Romijn and Jon Tenney as former Secret Service agents working as private investigators.
