TORONTO – Four Barrie, Ont. boys were in a whole bunch of trouble with their parents after being caught selling fake marijuana over the weekend.
Barrie police say they received a call on Saturday, Sept. 14 at 6:45 p.m. from a woman who claimed the young males were trying to sell a “grassy substance” to her on a street corner.
An investigation later found the alleged drug, which looked like pot, to be just common grass.
The boys, eight, 10, 12 & 13 years of age, were cautioned by police, taken to their homes and turned over to their parents.
