CALGARY – Police are warning the public about a high risk offender released into Calgary on Thursday.
Leon Martin Joseph Plamondon has just finished serving two years in prison, and has a history of sexual assault against female children.
The 49-year-old will be monitored by the Calgary Police Service High Risk Offender Program
Plamondon is described by police as 5’9” tall, approximately 220 lbs., with brown hair, brown eyes and a fair complexion.
Officials say it’s in the public interest that people are aware of his release and take suitable precautions.
Plamondon previously committed offences in the the communities of St. Paul, Medicine Hat, Lethbridge, and Fort Saskatchewan, as well as in Belleville, Ontario, and St. Walburg, Saskatchewan.
