The team is expected to make the announcement official Tuesday in Montreal.

Montreal has not hosted a Major League Baseball (MLB) game since the Expos were relocated to Washington following the 2004 season.

However, questions are being raised on whether Montreal’s Olympic Stadium can be suited for baseball in a “park” that has since been used sparingly for Canadian Football League and soccer games.

MLB has declined comment on the series.
