A boil water advisory for a Manitoba First Nation is to be lifted after more than two decades.
Shoal Lake 40 has had a boil water advisory in effect since 1997 and, until 2019, had no direct road connection to the outside world.
A new water treatment plant has been built in the community.
The federal government says it is to make an announcement on the water advisory today.
