Emergency crews in Kingston were securing the scene of a chemical spill Thursday morning.
According to Kingston Fire and Rescue, the spill occurred around 6 a.m. inside a business on McAdoos Lane.
Kingston fire says that 100 litres of hydrochloric acid leaked from a container.

The building was evacuated, and although Kingston police say one person was sent to hospital for assessment, Kingston Fire says there were no injuries from the hazmat situation.
A third party contractor was called in to clean up the spill.
The Ministry of Labour and Kingston Fire and Rescue are investigating the incident.
