Bail granted to man charged in P.A. drunk driving deaths

PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. – A man charged with drunk driving after a crash left two people dead in Prince Albert, Sask. in July has been granted bail.

Jeremiah Jobb, 21, was released from custody after making a court appearance on Thursday.

He is subject to several conditions including 24 hour house arrest.

Jobb is charged with two counts each of impaired driving causing death and exceeding .08 causing death after the July 14 crash.

Taylor Litwin, 21, and 17-year-old Brandi Lepine, who was pregnant at the time, were killed in the collision.

An emergency delivery was performed just before Lepine died in a Saskatoon hospital.

The baby survived and spent days in critical condition.

Baby Aurora Ledoux has improved and is now listed in stable condition and breathing on her own without a ventilator but is still on oxygen in the neo-natal unit at Royal University Hospital.

Jobb makes his next court appearance on Sept. 12.
