Canada election results: Vancouver Quadra

Global News is projecting Liberal cabinet minister Joyce Murray will be re-elected in the riding of Vancouver Quadra.

At 9:08 p.m., with 60 out of 168 polls reporting, Murray had 42.6 per cent of the vote, with Conservative Brad Armstrong next at 28.5 per cent and NDP hopeful Naden Abenes with 21.8 per cent.

Murray was first elected in a 2008 byelection and has held the seat ever since.

In 2019, she won with 43.5 per cent of the vote. She currently serves as Minister of Digital Government.

Vancouver Quadra is one of six federal ridings that cover the City of Vancouver, particularly its west side, which includes the University of British Columbia.

Liberal Party: Joyce Murray (incumbent)

Conservative Party: Brad Armstrong

NDP: Naden Abenes

Green Party: Devyani Singh

People’s Party of Canada: Renate Siekmann
