Edmonton homicide detectives are investigating the death of a 56-year-old in the city’s west end.
Police said officers were called to an apartment complex in the area of 177 Street and 81 Avenue regarding “trouble not known” at around 9:45 p.m. Monday.
Police said officers found a man’s body when they arrived on scene.

Another man was arrested at the West Edmonton Mall Transit Centre. Police said the victim and the man arrested knew each other but have not provided further details about the relationship.
Police said they are not looking for any other suspects.
An autopsy has been scheduled for Friday.
There have been several other suspicious deaths in Edmonton over the past few days.
On Saturday, officials were called to a home near 129 Street and 128 Avenue where a woman was found dead.
Edmonton police also said a man’s body was found on the north end of the city at 142 Avenue and 80 Street early Sunday morning.
