Wanted man considered armed and dangerous

WINNIPEG – Police are seeking a Peguis First Nation man they believe may be headed towards Winnipeg.

Joshua Sanderson, 23, is wanted by police after he and another man allegedly forced their way into a home on the reserve and demanded cash. They had a firearm, police allege.

Police have a warrant for Sanderson’s arrest on charges of breaking and entering with intent to commit a crime, pointing a firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm and possessing a weapon for dangerous purposes.

Police believe Sanderson left Peguis in a crew-cab pickup truck and that he might be headed to Winnipeg with two other men.

Sanderson has two tattoos – two tear drops under his left eye, and a skull with red eyes on his neck. He’s five-foot-seven, weighs about 157 pounds and has brown hair and hazel eyes.

Police consider Sanderson armed and dangerous and ask anyone with information about his whereabouts not to approach him, but to call Peguis RCMP at 204-645-5180 or the local law-enforcement agency.
