The City of Kitchener announced the store on Monday, saying it will allow shoppers to order more than 500 products including fresh fruit, meats and cheeses.

“I’m excited for the opportunity this new online store will offer for additional shoppers to support our local vendors,” Coun. Sarah Marsh stated

“More and more people are choosing to shop online, and this will make it easier to choose local.”

From Monday until Thursday at noon, shoppers can now place orders online for pickup on Saturday in the upper hall.

The Market is still open from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturdays although the Food Hall and all in-person marketplace classes, cooking events, and rentals remain cancelled or have moved online.
