WINNIPEG – Two people were targeted by armed robbers in the Corydon area on Thursday night.
A man armed with a black handgun approached a person outside the apartment at 800 Corydon Ave. shortly after 10:20 p.m., police said.

The victim fled and the robber fled east on Corydon.
The man was described as 17 to 21 years old, with a slight build, short, shaggy black hair and dark clothes, police said.
Just before midnight, a man matching that description and a woman holding a handgun robbed cash from a 49-year-old woman at Grosvenor Avenue and Arbuthnot Street.

The woman was described as 18 to 21 years old, with brown, shoulder-length hair and dark clothes.
Police believe the same man was involved in both cases.
