Judd Hirsch is best known for his portrayal of Alex Rieger in the classic television series "Taxi," a role that earned him two Emmy Awards for Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series. Hirsch also starred as John Lacey in the series "Dear John," for which he won the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Comedy, before starring opposite Bob Newhart in the comedy series "George & Leo," on CBS.
