One man was killed in a crash on Highway 22X east of Calgary on Wednesday.
RCMP said a westbound semi-trailer and eastbound car collided between Highway 797 and Highway 24, east of Indus, at around 7:30 a.m.
According to RCMP, the driver of the car, a 21-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two occupants in the semi-truck were treated at the scene for minor injuries, RCMP said.

Traffic in the area was diverted at Highway 22X and Highway 797 as well as at Highway 22X and Highway 24.

RCMP said though the cause of the crash is still under investigation, road conditions are believed to have contributed to the incident.
Alcohol and drugs are not believed to be involved.
