Death of man in north-end Halifax not suspicious: police

Halifax police say the death of a man found in the city’s north end on Monday morning has been ruled not suspicious.

Police were called to Lady Hammond Road and Robie Street at around 7:15 a.m.

Investigators and forensic specialists came to the scene to investigate. Police said the Medical Examiner Service has been contacted to help with the investigation.

Wednesday morning, Halifax police stated the Medical Examiner has completed an autopsy and ruled the death not suspicious.

“Our thoughts remain with the loved ones of the deceased at this difficult time,” police said in a release.
