MONTREAL – With the help of an anonymous donor, Sun Youth is offering a reward to anyone who can help police track down a suspect involved in a hit-and-run last month.
A mother pushing her son in a stroller was knocked to the ground by a car on Friday, June 21 on Chabanel St. near the Marché Central.

Both the mother and child survived the accident, although the mother injured her arm and is receiving treatment from a physiotherapist.
Police confirmed that the driver stopped, got out of her car and looked at the scene before driving away.
The suspect, described as an English-speaking Asian woman in her 50s, was driving a grey Mazda. The car license plate may have started with a ‘W.’
Authorities are hoping that the $3000 reward may help the investigation move forward.
