Man found dead after shooting at Oshawa apartment complex

Durham Regional Police say a 20-year-old man is dead after a shooting in Oshawa on Monday night.

Emergency crews were called to King and Farewell streets at around 10:15 p.m. for reports of a shooting at an apartment complex.

Police said officers found a man who was dead in the parking lot.

Investigators said three people are in custody, however no charges have been laid yet.

A firearm was also recovered from the scene, police said.

This is Durham Region’s 7th homicide of the year, police said.
