A lack of a water source in the immediate vicinity made the operation even more challenging.

After a strong smell of gasoline was detected as people arrived at the scene, authorities are calling the fire as suspicious.

An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the fire and whether the blaze was deliberately set.

The golf course has been operated by Guy Cardinal and his family since 2000.
