EDMONTON – An Edmonton man is facing a number of sex and drug-related charges.
Sexual Assault detectives are investigating three reported incidents involving two women, who attended the home of 50-year-old Dennis Chung between May and July.
It’s alleged the women were “rendered semi-unconscious,” according to the Edmonton Police Service, then sexually assaulted by Chung. Acting Inspector Sean Armstrong says the incidents happened at Chung’s residence.

“We did execute a search warrant at the residence, illicit drugs were found, but I cannot tell you whether or not they were part of the sexual assault at this time,” Armstrong explained.
He says the victims and the accused were known to each other. Officers are concerned there may be more victims.
Dennis Chung has been charged with two counts of sexual assault, gang sexual assault, three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a controlled substance, two counts of proceeds of crime, and six counts of breach of recognizance.
The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are pending.
