Man in hospital with life-threatening injuries after Brockville stabbing: police

Brockville police are looking for witnesses to a late-night stabbing in the city.

Police say a 455-year-old man was stabbed at a home on King Street East on Wednesday night around 10:30 p.m., and sent to Kingston General Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police say a man was stabbed after a dispute with a 30-year-old woman became physical. Police say the woman stabbed the man in the torso before he was able to escape and contact police.

Chelsea Fraser was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, failing to comply with a release order and failing to comply with a probation order.

As of Thursday at noon, the man is still in hospital.
