Winnpeg police say at least “a couple” of people were assaulted Wednesday night on Burrows Avenue near Main Street.
Police were called to the area just after 6 p.m. At least one man was stabbed and taken to hospital.

Winnipeg police said that they were called to the scene because of a robbery. The person taken to hospital had non-life-threatening injuries, they added.
No arrests have been made.
