Missing Guelph man found ‘alive and well’ in Newmarket

Guelph police say an 83-year-old man, who was missing for over two days, has been found “alive and well” in Newmarket, Ont.

Heibotllah Fazaei was last seen walking near Stone and Edinburgh roads at around 9 a.m. on Monday

At the time, police said he was known to walk on the trails through University Village Park towards Ironwood Road, Kortright Road and Stone Road Mall.

On Wednesday afternoon, police announced he was found in the town of Newmarket in York Region.

No other details were provided, but Guelph police thanked the public for their assistance.
