CALGARY – RCMP have charged a 46-year-old Strathmore man with impaired driving, after a two car crash near that seriously injured another man.
Emergency crews rushed to a collision on the Trans-Canada Highway west of Strathmore just before Midnight on Wednesday.
A Ford F-150 was allegedly traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes when it collided head-on with a Dodge Caravan.
The 36-year-old driver of the Dodge Caravan was airlifted to hospital with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries. He’s now listed in stable condition.
The driver of the Ford, a 46-year-old man, was arrested on scene.
RCMP have charged Roger Rotariu with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle causing Bodily Harm, Having a Blood Alcohol Level over the Legal Limit Causing Bodily Harm, and Dangerous Driving Causing Bodily Harm.
He’ll appear in Strathmore Provincial Court on August 20th.
