A 52 year old Kelowna woman is very lucky to be alive following a crash Wednesday morning in Kelowna.
Just after 8am, a blue Ford Focus turned left in front of the south bound tanker at Highway 97 at Leathead Road.
The woman behind the wheel walked away from her mangled car with minor injuries.
Judging from skid marks on the road, the tanker attempted to make a full stop before slamming into her car.
The 33 year old Vernon driver of the tanker truck was not injured. The tractor unit did sustain minor damage in the collison.
