TORONTO – A woman was sexually assaulted in her sleep during a string of break and enters in the Etobicoke area on the weekend, say Toronto police.
It is alleged that several homes in the Berry Road and Parklawn Road area experienced a rash of break-ins on Sunday July 7 between 12:55 a.m. and 3:30 a.m.

It is reported that a male suspect entered the homes through unlocked doors and windows while the residents were asleep.
Police say the man was seen prowling the area around 2:30 a.m. and fled when a homeowner discovered him.
Investigators believe the same man is responsible for a series of break and enters and sexual assaults in 2012.
Officials say it’s unclear how many homes were broken into and if any objects or possessions were stolen.
Police are reminding residents to keep their windows and doors locked in the area and to call police if they notice any suspicious people or vehicles in their neighbourhood.
