A woman hit by a truck in Niagara Falls has died in hospital, according to Niagara Regional Police.
Investigators say the 79-year-old victim was hit by a black Ford Ranger pickup just before 6:00 a.m. on Friday as she crossed Lundy’s Lane near Kalar Road.
The woman from Niagara Falls was treated on scene for life-threatening injuries before being sent to hospital where she was subsequently pronounced dead, say police.

A 66-year-old man from Thorold who was the driver of the truck remained on scene.
