CALGARY- A number of local drinking spots are being recognized for their commitment to safety.

Dozens of venues around Calgary are accredited through the Best Bar None program, which works to reduce alcohol-related issues by raising standards in licensed premises.

This year, 34 pubs, clubs, bars and lounges were recognized, for providing exceptional public safety and customer service.
