CALGARY- Security concerns have been raised at a local abortion clinic, after a patient had her belongings stolen while getting a procedure.
Rose says visiting the Kensington Clinic is one of the hardest decisions she’s ever made.
“I didn’t want to be in there, I felt sick to my stomach,” she says. “It took everything in me not to turn around and walk out the door.”
She says the clinic told her to lock up her belongings in a locker, and was given the key. But when she went to leave, she realized her wallet and phone were missing.
She adds that the clinic refuses to take any responsibility.

“What we need to find out is who had access to that area, who had access to common keys, combinations, who may or may not,” explains Kevin Brookwell from the Calgary Police Service. “This is really uncomfortable and disturbing to people.”
