Alcohol investigated as factor in Barlow Trail crash: Calgary police

Calgary police say alcohol is being investigated as a factor in a crash on Barlow Trail on Tuesday that injured two people.

The two-vehicle crash happened at Barlow Trail and 72 Avenue Southeast just after 9 p.m.

EMS said two people were taken to Foothills Medical Centre: a woman in her early 30s in life-threatening condition and a man in his early 20s in stable condition.

On Wednesday, Calgary police told Global News the woman had been upgraded to stable condition.
