CALGARY – There are now more places for cyclists to lock up their bikes in the downtown core.
The Calgary Parking Authority announced on Tuesday they’ve added 166 new bicycle stalls in select parkades and surface lots.
“The aim is to enhance mobility for Calgarians and this includes supporting alternate modes of transportation including walking, cycling and transit use,” says Troy McLeod, CPA General Manager.

Each location will be equipped with a bicycle repair stand and tools that customers can use for free. The cost to park in a secured bicycle location is $10 per month plus GST. There is also a $25 refundable key fob deposit charge.
There are now a total of 251 bicycle parking stalls in downtown Calgary:
