OTTAWA – People with sensitivity to sulphites are being warned not to consume a certain brand of white grape juice sold by Loblaw Companies.

The 1.36 litre size of President’s Choice White Grape Juice contains sulphites which are not declared on the label.

Consumption of the product may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in people with sensitivity to sulphites.

There have been no reported illnesses associated with the product.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is monitoring the effectiveness of the voluntary recall.
