Halifax Regional Police say they are currently on scene at a reported weapons complaint in the area of Isleville Street and Livingstone Place in Halifax.
Police say several people are in custody.
Nearby construction workers who witnessed the arrests told Global they saw six people put in the back of police cruisers at around 4:40 p.m.
