CALGARY – Residents in the city’s southwest are cleaning up after a stolen City of Calgary dump truck slammed into their cars, Wednesday night.
Police say a man jumped into the vehicle around 10 p.m., in an attempt to steal it.

The thief was followed by the Calgary Police HAWC helicopter and K-9 unit.

He crashed into at least three vehicles before jumping out of the truck and running away.
Police don’t yet have a suspect in custody.
