REGINA – Jason Church is a high school math and phys. ed. teacher, but this weekend he is the “combat specialist” for a special type of weekend camp taking place at Katepwa Lake.  Zombie Prep Camp was designed to teach participants practical skills in unarmed combat, as well as archery, axe-throwing, emergency first aid, fire-starting and shelter building.

“This stuff is not only used to disable the undead, but also for real life situations,” said Church.

would we live?” said camp co-founder, Jonathan Michell. That’s what he says he wants the participants to be thinking about for the next three days.

And lest they be disappointed, the camp experience is complete with real life zombies.
