Edmonton’s first new city manager in 10 years wants to forge links with local schools, businesses and non-profit groups to help create projects and stretch tax dollars. One example of how such arrangements can benefit all sides is the bid, along with the University of Alberta, for the 2017 World’s Fair, Simon Farbrother says.
