Man found dead after North York robbery: police

Toronto police are investigating a suspicious death after reports of a robbery near Steeles Avenue West and Islington Avenue Friday morning.

Police said officers were called to a commercial building in the area of Millwick and Milvan drives just after 9 a.m.

Toronto paramedics said two men were treated at the scene. They said one man was suffering from life-threatening injuries.

Police said he was later pronounced dead on scene and that his death was being treated as suspicious.

The other man had minor injuries and was transported to hospital.

There is no suspect information at this time.
