PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. – Sean Montgomery put away the power-play winner early in the third period as the Prince Albert Raiders edged the Saskatoon Blades 3-2 on Sunday in Western Hockey League playoff action.

Prince Albert holds a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven second-round series.

Zack Hayes and Dante Hannoun also scored for the Raiders, while Ian Scott made 24 saves for the win.

Kirby Dach and Eric Florchuk scored for the Blades. Nolan Maier stopped 29 shots for Saskatoon.

Prince Albert 1 for 5 on the power play and Saskatoon was 1 for 4 with the man advantage.

EVERETT, Wash. — Eli Zummack’s power-play goal at the 16:56 mark of the second period was the eventual winner as Spokane took a 2-0 lead in their playoff series with the Silvertips.

Jake McGrew and Luc Smith also scored for the Chiefs.

Wyatte Wylie scored for the Silvertips.

OIL KINGS 4 HITMEN 1

EDMONTON — Liam Keeler had the game-winning goal for the Oil Kings early in the second period as the Oil Kings downed Calgary for a 2-0 lead in their post-season matchup.

Quinn Benjafield, Matthew Robertson and David Kope rounded out the attack for Edmonton.

Carson Focht scored for the Hitmen.
