LETHBRIDGE, Alta. – Carson Focht scored twice in the first period as the Calgary Hitmen beat the Lethbridge Hurricanes 4-2 on Tuesday in Game 7 of their Western Hockey League first-round series.

Riley Fiddler-Schultz and Mark Kastelic also scored for the Hitmen, who will face the Edmonton Oil Kings in Round 2.

Zachary Cox and Alex Cotton hit the scoresheet for the Hurricanes.

Jack McNaughton made 23 saves for Calgary as Carl Tetachuk kicked out 23-of-26 shots for Lethbridge.
