No one was injured after a fire in southwest Calgary on Wednesday afternoon.
After a neighbour phoned it in, crews responded to a detached garage fire in the 1700 block of 12 Avenue S.W. just before 3:30 p.m.

Flames and smoke were billowing from the garage, which was still under construction, but firefighters quickly knocked it down, according to Capt. Paul Frederick.
The cause is under investigation.
