Manitobans aren’t off the hook just quite yet for winter weather.
Environment Canada issued a special weather statement early Wednesday morning for the entire city of Winnipeg, along with other parts of Manitoba.
Parts of southern Manitoba will see effects from a major winter storm that’s heading to Ontario from the U.S.
Snow and strong winds are expected to roll into Manitoba on Wednesday evening and continue into Thursday.

Wet snow will continue into Thursday before tapering off late that night.
Environment Canada says blowing snow should be limited in Winnipeg because of mild temperatures, and icing of the snow pack surface due to the sun.
