Collision in Lambeth sends 1 to hospital: police

One person was taken to hospital with serious injures Friday following a collision at a busy intersection in Lambeth, London police said.

The collision happened around 9:20 a.m. at Main and Campbell streets and involved two vehicles and a pedestrian, police said.

Details remain limited, but police said an adult female was taken to hospital from the scene with serious injuries. They were listed in stable condition as of 1:30 p.m., police said.

The intersection was closed for several hours for police investigation but reopened to traffic just before 2 p.m.
