Winnipeg fire crews are battling a fire near Health Sciences Centre early Tuesday morning.
Crews were called to a house fire just after 1 a.m. to the 900 block of Alexander Avenue.
Fire crews say the house was heavily involved in flames and smoke upon arrival.
Due to unsafe conditions, crews were forced to fight the flames from outside of the building.
Arlington Street was closed Northbound and Southbound between Logan Avenue and William Avenue throughout Tuesday morning.
The city says the house was vacant and no injuries were reported.
The fire is under investigation.
