Toronto police sources tell Global News the death of a man at a midtown apartment is being investigated by the homicide squad and that a man has been arrested.

Emergency crews were called to the apartment on Broadway Avenue, just west of Mount Pleasant Road, at around 12:10 p.m. on Monday.

A Toronto police spokesperson said the man was found unconscious.

However, police sources told Global News a 42-year-old man was arrested and that investigators are treating the victim’s death as a homicide. Sources also said the two men were brothers.

It’s unclear what, if any charges, the man in custody might face.
