Hamilton firefighters are investigating the cause of a house fire on the west Mountain.
Crews were called at about 7:30 a.m. Friday to a two-storey home on Richview Drive, in the area of Upper Paradise and Rymal Roads.
Officials say the fire was located on the ground floor but was quickly extinguished.
Four occupants of the home managed to escape the blaze, while one occupant was rescued from the second floor.
There is no word yet on a damage estimate.
