A group of young Londoners will come together Thursday to call for action on climate change.
The event, known as London Ontario Youth for Climate March, will feature high school students who are going on strike from classes Thursday afternoon to rally at City Hall.
According to officials, the strikes will take the form of a march and will feature several youth speakers as well as a demonstration from elementary school students.

The march is part of a global movement started by a young girl in Sweden dubbed the #climatestrike movement. Greta Thunberg skips school every Friday to sit in front of the Swedish Parliament and demand action on the climate crisis.
