Police investigating after items reportedly stolen from shed in Barrie

Police are investigating after several items were reported stolen from a shed in Barrie.

According to Barrie police, on Saturday, a resident discovered their shed on Clapperton Street had been entered and items stored within it had been stolen.

Police say an investigation revealed the lock on the shed was cut sometime Thursday night or early Friday morning.

Officers say the following items were reported stolen:

  • A Scott, hard tail Mountain Bike with a black frame, green handlebars and MEC pedals
  • A MTD Yardworks 357cc, 28 inch cut snow blower
  • A gold coloured Botstitch air compressor
  • A pair of black Sorel winter boots

Police say the value of the items stolen exceeds $3,000.

According to police, the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact officers at 705-725-7025 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
