Quebec provincial police are looking for a man suspected of committing crimes of a sexual nature in Repentigny, east of the Island of Montreal.
The suspect, believed to be about 20 years old, has allegedly been committing acts of sexual assault in the area since December 2018.
Residents who live in the area say they’re shocked as it’s known to be a quiet neighbourhood.
“It’s really out of the pale, but then again, I guess it’s the kind of world we’re living in nowadays,” said resident Carle Bacha.

Sûreté du Québec (SQ) officers are canvassing the area, looking for information that could lead them to the suspect.
They describe him as between five feet eight inches and five feet 11 inches tall, about 200 pounds, with a dark beard, a neck warmer and wearing sunglasses.
Officers say he waits for his victims between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. at a bus stop on Iberville Boulevard in a black Acura ILX.
“He would approach them and invite them to sexual contact, would speak to them briefly, explicit communication,” said Daniel Thibodeau, a spokesperson for the SQ.
A command post has been set up at 920 Iberville Blvd.
