1 injured, charges pending after car, school bus collide in Middlesex Centre: OPP

Middlesex OPP are investigating a collision between a car and school bus in Middlesex Centre on Wednesday that left the passenger of the car with minor injuries.

It happened around 2:45 p.m. at Centre Road and Petty Street, about eight kilometres north of Strathroy, Ont.

Police said 11 high-schoolers were on the bus at the time of the crash, but none were reported injured.

A passenger in the car had to be extracted by fire crews and was taken to hospital for minor injuries.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation, and police said charges were pending the completion of the investigation. No other details were provided.
