RCMP say a woman was killed in a crash in the town of Okotoks, Alta., on Sunday.
The victim was driving a vehicle that struck a street light pole on 32 Street and North Railway Street at around noon.
“At this time, it is unclear as the cause of the accident,” RCMP said in a Tuesday news release. “The incident is still under investigation.”

The victim, a 61-year-old Okotoks resident, suffered “severe” injuries and was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Okotoks is located about 20 kilometres south of Calgary.
