Police are seeking to locate a suspect in connection with two street-level robberies in Aurora and Newmarket.
According to York Regional police, on Jan. 19, four youths were sitting in a restaurant in the Yonge Street and Allaura Boulevard area of Aurora, when a man approached them.
Police say the suspect allegedly assaulted all four youths and demanded they turn over their phones, jewelry and clothing accessories.
Officers say the youths complied and the suspect fled the area in a vehicle.
Police say the second incident occurred on Jan. 21.

Officers say a man and woman were parked in a vehicle outside of a restaurant in the Yonge Street and Kingston Road area of Newmarket when a suspect approached them.
According to police, the suspect assaulted the man who was sitting in the driver’s seat of the vehicle and stole items from him.
Police say investigators have identified a suspect, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
Officers are searching for 19-year-old Godfrey Dillman from Newmarket.
